You know when you have an image in your mind, but just can’t find exactly what you’re looking for? That’s me. Basically, every day. I spend more time than I care to admit googling and pinteresting different variations of key words, just waiting for the right thing to pop up. Currently, I’m seeking a variation of midi skirts, leopard high heeled booties, and the perfect oversized sweater.
These shoes? Prime example of my patience finally paying off. I loved the tan/gold variations I kept finding, but with as much as I wear any form of sneaker to begin with, I wasn’t about to pay an arm and a leg on a shoe that I might end up hating in a year. I found an incredible black wedge sneaker with a white sole, but it just didn’t seem right for me. (Such a Goldilocks!) Finally, I just happened to be roaming aimlessly through Kohl’s with my mom and these jumped out at me for a whopping $34.99. Why hadn’t I thought of silver to begin with?! Not only are these the most comfortable shoes I own, but they are perfect for Thunder games and even better as my set-up shoes on the day of events! You might think the wedge would be uncomfortable, but it’s actually quite cushiony and thus far, has served me well. This is a trend I never saw myself succumbing to, but I am SO glad I did!
