Two years ago, I spent a summer in the southwest. Phoenix to be exact. And yes – I said summer. Between learning how to be a teacher (that was a process that definitely took more than the six weeks I spent there), the 120 degree heat (very real), and walking through a haboob – it was definitely memorable. The drive down Route 66 is fascinating, particularly the trading posts and travel stops. I have always been drawn to turquoise, but something in the unique southwestern prints piques my interest. Is it how it is woven? Somewhat abstract? The tradition in the culture? The number of arrows to appease my Pi Phi loving soul? No idea. But when I spotted this beautiful jacket, especially with the arrow, I had to take it home. No doubt, you will be seeing it a lot!
